Storyline: Still grieving the king of terrors of nine-year-old Alice - their sole child - at the jaws of a crazed dog, vet Patrick and pharmacist Louise relocate to the remote metropolis of Wake Wood where they learn of a pagan ritual that will allow them three additional days with Alice. The couple fall in with the idea disturbing and exciting in equal measure, but once they agree conditions with Arthur, the villages leader, a remoter bigger question looms - what will they confer when its time for Alice to fire back?
